# Password Manager

The Password Manager is a secure credential storage tool built into the Client Portal. It allows you to store passwords, access your service credentials, and receive credentials shared by the support team — all in one place.

All stored passwords are encrypted. Support staff do not access your credentials without your explicit consent.

## Accessing the Password Manager

Log in to [console.digitalfyre.com](https://console.digitalfyre.com) and click **Password Manager** in the sidebar menu.

## Tabs

### Owned Passwords

Passwords you have added yourself. Use this to store any credentials you want to keep on file — service logins, API keys, or anything else relevant to your account.

To add a new password, click **Add Password** and fill in the label and credential details.

### Shared Passwords

Credentials that the support team has shared with you. When support provides login details, temporary credentials, or configuration information during a support interaction, they appear here.

### Products/Services Passwords

Credentials automatically associated with your active DigitalFyre services — such as control panel logins, server passwords, and service-specific access details. These are tied to your service records and update when credentials change through the portal.

## Privacy & Security

* All passwords stored in the Password Manager are encrypted at rest
* Support staff cannot view your **Owned Passwords** without your explicit consent
* If you need to share credentials with support for troubleshooting purposes, you can do so directly through the portal and revoke access afterwards
