# Downloading Your Data

OX App Suite allows you to download a complete copy of your personal data, including email, calendar events, contacts, and tasks. This is useful for creating local backups or transferring your data to another provider.

## How to Download

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Your Data Settings">
    In OX App Suite, go to **Settings → Your Data**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select Data to Export">
    Choose which data to include:

    | Data Type        | Format                                                         |
    | ---------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------- |
    | **Email**        | All emails from your primary account, exported as `.eml` files |
    | **Calendar**     | All appointments, exported as `.ical` files                    |
    | **Address book** | All contacts, exported as `.vcard` files                       |
    | **Tasks**        | All tasks, exported as `.ical` files                           |

    Each data type has an **Options** dropdown for export-specific settings.

  <Step title="Set File Size Limit">
    Set the **Maximum file size** for the archive. Archives larger than the selected size will be split into multiple files. Default is 1 GB.

  <Step title="Request Download">
    Click **Request download**. Once the export is ready, you will receive a notification with a download link.

  This is a personal data export for the currently logged-in user. It does not include data from other mailboxes on the same service. Each user must export their own data individually.
