# Creating an Email Account

> How to create a new email account for your domain in Plesk.

You can create email accounts for any domain hosted on your DigitalFyre shared hosting plan directly from Plesk.

## Creating an Email Account

<Steps>
  <Step title="Go to Mail">
    Log in to Plesk and click **Mail** in the left sidebar.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add an Email Address">
    Click **Create Email Address**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter the Details">
    Fill in the following:

    * **Email address** — enter the local part (e.g. `hello` for `hello@example.com`)
    * **Domain** — select the domain from the dropdown
    * **Password** — set a strong password for the mailbox
    * **Mailbox size** — leave as default or set a custom quota

  <Step title="Confirm">
    Click **OK**. The email account is created and ready to use.

## Accessing Your Email

Once created, you can access your mailbox in two ways:

* **Webmail** — go to `https://webmail.example.com` or `https://server-name.digitalfyre.net:8443/webmail`
* **Email client** — configure your preferred email app using the settings in [Configuring an Email Client](/web-hosting/email/email-client-settings)

  The default webmail client is Roundcube, accessible directly from the Mail section in Plesk by clicking **Open Webmail**.
