# Managing Themes

PanelAlpha lets you manage themes installed on your WordPress site from the **Installed Themes** section under the **Advanced** tab.

## Accessing Themes

    From **My Instances**, click on your instance.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Go to Advanced → Installed Themes">
    Click the **Advanced** tab, then select **Installed Themes** from the left sidebar.

## Available Actions

Each theme card shows:

* **Activate** — set this theme as the active theme for the site
* **Preview** — preview how the theme looks on your site
* **Remove** — uninstall the theme

## Installing a New Theme

Click **+ Add New** in the top-right corner to search for and install themes from the WordPress theme directory.

## Auto-Updates

Themes can be set to update automatically. See [Auto-Updates](/wordpress-hosting/managing-instances/auto-updates).

  Only one theme can be active at a time. Removing an inactive theme has no effect on your live site.
