You can cancel your bare metal server through the customer portal or by opening a support ticket.

From the Customer Portal

Log In

Log in at console.digitalfyre.com and navigate to your server’s product details page.

Request Cancellation

Click Request Cancellation in the left sidebar.

Choose a Cancellation Type

Select how you want the cancellation processed:

End of Billing PeriodService remains active until your current paid period expires
ImmediateService is terminated promptly

Confirm

Optionally provide a reason, then confirm the request.

Via Support Ticket

Alternatively, open a support ticket requesting cancellation and specify whether you want it at end of billing period or immediately.

Before You Cancel

Once a bare metal server is terminated, all data on the server is permanently destroyed. This includes files, databases, configurations, and anything stored on the server’s drives. This cannot be reversed.
Before cancelling, ensure you have:
  • Downloaded any files you need via SFTP, SCP, or rsync
  • Exported any databases
  • Saved any configurations you want to reuse
  • Updated DNS records pointing to this server
  • Migrated services to a new server if applicable

Multi-month Contracts and Early Cancellation

Servers on annual contracts are eligible for early cancellation. An early termination fee applies, as agreed upon in your contract at the time of signing. To initiate an early cancellation, contact support@digitalfyre.com to review your contract terms and confirm the applicable fee before submitting a cancellation request.
