Every bare-metal server includes a /29 IPv4 subnet and IPv6 access upon request. Additional IPs and BYOIP deployments are supported.

IPv4

A /29 IPv4 subnet (5 usable addresses) is included with every bare metal server by default. Your primary IP is displayed on the Server Information panel in the customer portal.

Additional IPv4 Addresses

Additional IPv4 addresses are available but subject to approval. To request additional IPs:
  1. Open a support ticket at console.digitalfyre.com
  2. Provide justification for the additional addresses
IP address requests require justification. SSL certificates and email delivery are not considered valid justifications. Requests are evaluated based on legitimate technical need.

IPv6

IPv6 is available upon request: To request an IPv6 allocation, open a support ticket.

BYOIP and BYOASN

DigitalFyre supports Bring Your Own IP (BYOIP) and Bring Your Own ASN (BYOASN) deployments. If you have your own IP space or autonomous system number, DigitalFyre can announce your prefixes from their network. Contact support@digitalfyre.com to discuss BYOIP/BYOASN requirements.

Configuring Additional IPs

Your primary IPv4 address is configured during provisioning. Any additional IPv4 or IPv6 addresses must be configured on your server’s network interfaces.
