The Open-Xchange Migration Tool allows you to import email from your previous provider directly into your OX App Suite mailbox. It supports migration from popular services and any provider that uses standard IMAP or POP3 protocols. The tool is powered by Audriga and is offered as a courtesy through Open-Xchange at no additional cost — saving you €11 per mailbox migration compared to using Audriga directly.

Supported Providers

Pre-configured profiles are available for:
  • Microsoft 365
  • Apple iCloud
  • Gmail
  • Outlook.com / Windows Live / Hotmail
  • Yahoo Mail
  • GMX
  • T-Online
  • Rackspace Email
… and many more. You can also manually enter IMAP or POP3 server details for any other provider.

How to Migrate

Open the Migration Tool

Log in to the customer portal, go to Services → My Services → (your Open-Xchange service) → Manage Email Accounts, and select the Migration Tool tab.

Launch

Click Launch Migration Tool.

Select Your Provider

Select your previous email provider from the list, or enter custom IMAP/POP3 settings for any other provider.

Enter Credentials

Enter the credentials for your old email account.

Start Migration

Follow the prompts to begin. The migration tool copies the emails from your old account into your OX App Suite mailbox. Your original emails remain on the source provider and are not deleted.
Before migrating, ensure your DNS records are configured correctly so new email is delivered to your Open-Xchange mailbox while the migration runs.
