Enabling the Addon
Once enabled, you can create forwarding rules that route incoming email at your domain to an external email address.
How It Works
You define a mailbox name (the part before the @) and a target email address. For example, forwardinghello@yourdomain.com to your.real.email@gmail.com means any email sent to hello@yourdomain.com arrives in your Gmail inbox.
Requirement: Default Nameservers
Reliability Limitations
| Issue | Details |
|---|---|
| SPF failures | The forwarding server is not authorized to send on behalf of the original sender’s domain |
| DKIM failures | Forwarding may modify the message, breaking the signature |
| Deliverability | Receiving servers may flag or reject forwarded messages due to failed authentication |
