Email Forwarding is a free add-on that lets you forward emails sent to addresses at your domain to another email account. It is available from the Addons page in your domain’s management.

Enabling the Addon

1

Navigate to Addons

Open your domain’s management page and click Addons in the left sidebar.
2

Order the Addon

Under Email Forwarding, click Order ($0.00).
Once enabled, you can create forwarding rules that route incoming email at your domain to an external email address.

How It Works

You define a mailbox name (the part before the @) and a target email address. For example, forwarding hello@yourdomain.com to your.real.email@gmail.com means any email sent to hello@yourdomain.com arrives in your Gmail inbox.

Requirement: Default Nameservers

Email Forwarding only works when your domain uses the default (registrar) nameservers. If you have changed your nameservers to Cloudflare, DigitalFyre’s DNS Manager, or any other provider, email forwarding will not function.

Reliability Limitations

IssueDetails
SPF failuresThe forwarding server is not authorized to send on behalf of the original sender’s domain
DKIM failuresForwarding may modify the message, breaking the signature
DeliverabilityReceiving servers may flag or reject forwarded messages due to failed authentication
Forwarded emails may land in spam or be rejected entirely.
