DNS Host Record Management is a free addon that enables basic DNS record management through the domain registrar’s DNS system. It is available from the Addons page on your domain’s management page.

Enabling the Addon

Navigate to Addons

Open your domain’s management page and click Addons in the left sidebar.

Order the Addon

Under DNS Host Record Management, click Order ($0.00).
Once enabled, you can manage basic DNS records for your domain through the registrar’s interface.

When to Use This

Use DNS Host Record Management only if you need to keep your domain on the default (registrar) nameservers — for example, if you are using the Email Forwarding addon, which requires default nameservers. For most use cases, the DNS Manager in the customer portal sidebar is the better option:

To use the DNS Manager instead, point your domain’s nameservers to ns1-4.digitalfyre.net and add the domain in the DNS Manager. See DNS Manager.
