Platform baseline
Every VPS node, in every location, runs the same underlying platform:- Virtualization: KVM, orchestrated with VirtFusion
- Storage: Local NVMe, pure NVMe with no spinning disk
- Network uplink: 10 Gbit per node
- IPv4: One dedicated address per VPS
- IPv6: Native /64 subnet per VPS
- Processors: Enterprise-grade AMD EPYC and Ryzen 9
Compute by location
Storage (NVMe), uplink (10 Gbit), and IPv6 (/64) are identical at every location, so the processor is the main hardware difference between regions. The EPYC 7662 node in New York favors core density (64 cores) for parallel and virtualization-heavy workloads, while the Ryzen 9 and EPYC 4004/4005 nodes deliver higher per-core clocks for latency-sensitive and single-threaded workloads.
Choosing a location
With a uniform hardware baseline, pick a location by proximity to your users. Test real routing and latency to every region from our Looking Glass before you deploy. To move an existing VPS between locations later, open a support request. Note that a migration assigns a new IP address.Node hardware is refreshed periodically. This page reflects the current processor configuration per location, and specifications may change as nodes are upgraded.
