All DigitalFyre shared hosting plans include free SSL certificates via Let’s Encrypt. Installing one takes a few clicks and enables HTTPS on your domain.

Before You Begin

Your domain must be pointing to DigitalFyre’s nameservers and resolving correctly before Let’s Encrypt can issue a certificate. See Pointing Your Domain to Our Nameservers if you have not done this yet.

Installing the Certificate

1

Go to Websites & Domains

Log in to Plesk and click Websites & Domains in the left sidebar.
2

Open SSL/TLS Certificates

Find your domain and click SSL/TLS Certificates.
3

Select Let's Encrypt

Click Install under the Let’s Encrypt option.
4

Configure the Certificate

Enter your email address for renewal notifications. Ensure both the root domain (example.com) and www variant (www.example.com) are checked.
5

Install

Click Get it free. Plesk will request and install the certificate automatically.
Let’s Encrypt certificates are valid for 90 days and renew automatically. You do not need to manually renew them.

After Installation

Once installed, your site is accessible over HTTPS. To ensure all visitors use HTTPS, see Forcing HTTPS on Your Domain.
