After installing an SSL certificate, you should redirect all HTTP traffic to HTTPS so visitors always use a secure connection.

Enabling HTTPS Redirect in Plesk

1

Go to Websites & Domains

Log in to Plesk and click Websites & Domains in the left sidebar.
2

Open Hosting Settings

Find your domain and click Hosting Settings.
3

Enable the Redirect

Check the option Redirect from HTTP to HTTPS (or Permanent SEO-safe 301 redirect).
4

Save

Click OK to apply.
Plesk will add the redirect rule automatically. All HTTP requests to your domain will be permanently redirected to HTTPS.

Verifying the Redirect

Open a browser and navigate to http://example.com (without the s). You should be automatically redirected to https://example.com.
If your site still loads over HTTP after enabling the redirect, clear your browser cache and try again. If the issue persists, ensure your SSL certificate is installed correctly — see Installing a Free Let’s Encrypt SSL Certificate.
