What Is Backed Up
Each backup includes:- Files — all files in your hosting account, including website files, uploads, and configuration
- Databases — all MySQL and PostgreSQL databases associated with your account
- Emails — all mailboxes and their contents
- DNS zones — domain DNS records
Retention
Backups are retained for 4 weeks. You can restore any backup taken within the last 4 weeks at any time.Storage & Data Residency
All backups are stored in Wasabi S3 object storage. Backup data is stored in the same region as your hosting server to ensure data residency compliance. If you have specific data residency requirements, contact our support team before ordering.Accessing Your Backups
Backups are accessible directly from Plesk via the JetBackup panel. See the restore guides for step-by-step instructions:Automated backups are provided as a courtesy and should not be your only safeguard. We recommend maintaining your own local copies of critical data.
