The Security section under Advanced lets you manage SSL, HTTPS redirects, and search engine indexing for your instance.

Accessing Security Settings

From your instance, go to Advanced → Security.

SSL Certificate

All WP Cloud instances are issued SSL certificates automatically via Google Trust Services. The certificate is applied to your domain as soon as the instance is created — no manual configuration is required. Click Manage to view certificate details or reissue the certificate if needed.

Force HTTPS Redirect

When enabled, all HTTP requests to your domain are automatically redirected to HTTPS. This is enabled by default on all instances.
Keep Force HTTPS Redirect enabled at all times. Running a site without HTTPS negatively affects both security and search engine rankings.

Disable Search Engine Indexing

When enabled, search engines are discouraged from indexing this domain via a noindex directive. This is disabled by default on production sites. Enable this on staging environments to prevent them from appearing in search results. Disable it on any site intended to be publicly discoverable.
