A WordPress instance is a single WordPress installation tied to a domain. You can create one directly from PanelAlpha in a few steps.

Before You Begin

Your domain should already be pointed to DigitalFyre’s nameservers, or you can configure DNS after the instance is created. See DNS Zone Editor for details.

Creating an Instance

1

Open PanelAlpha

Log in to codex.digitalfyre.com or use SSO from the Client Portal.
2

Click Add New

Click the + Add New button in the top-right corner.
3

Select Create New WordPress Instance

In the modal that appears, choose Create New WordPress Instance and click Continue.
4

Complete the Setup

Follow the on-screen steps to configure your instance — enter your domain, site name, and admin credentials.
Once created, your instance appears on the My Instances dashboard and is immediately accessible.

After Creating an Instance

  • SSL is applied automatically via Google Trust Services — no manual configuration needed
  • Force HTTPS is enabled by default
  • Edge Cache is enabled by default for optimal performance
  • Your instance will appear as live on the My Instances dashboard once provisioning completes
Each instance gets two Anycast IP addresses assigned automatically. These are visible in the DNS Zone Editor under My Hosting.

Staging Environment

Every production instance can have a corresponding staging site. See Staging to set one up after your instance is created.
