You can change your Mailcow Email plan or adjust the number of additional mailboxes from the customer portal.
Accessing Upgrade/Downgrade Options
- Open your Mailcow Email service in the customer portal
- Click Upgrade/Downgrade Options in the Actions sidebar
Upgrading
You can upgrade from Mailcraft Standard to Mailcraft Large. Upgrading increases:
- Storage per mailbox (10 GB → 20 GB)
- Permanent alias limit (50 → 200)
You can also add additional mailboxes (up to 100) from the Configurable Options tab or through the upgrade page.
Downgrading
You can downgrade from Mailcraft Large to Mailcraft Standard, which reduces storage per mailbox and alias limits.
If your current mailbox storage usage exceeds the lower plan’s limit, the downgrade will not be possible. You must reduce your storage usage before downgrading. Delete old messages or empty Trash folders to free up space.
Adding Mailboxes
Additional mailboxes can be added through the upgrade/downgrade page or the Configurable Options tab. Each additional mailbox is billed at the per-mailbox rate for your plan:
| Plan | Per Additional Mailbox |
|---|
| Mailcraft Standard | $1.00/mo |
| Mailcraft Large | $2.00/mo |
Up to 100 additional mailboxes can be added per service.
