The VNC console gives you direct access to your server’s display and keyboard input, bypassing SSH entirely. It connects at the hypervisor level, so it works regardless of the server’s network or OS state.

Accessing the VNC Console

There are two ways to use VNC depending on your needs.

Client Portal (External VNC Client)

The Client Portal provides a VNC URL and password that you use with a VNC client application of your choice.
1

Open Your VPS Service Page

Log in to console.digitalfyre.com and navigate to your VPS.
2

Open the VNC Console

Click the VNC Console button. A modal will appear with your session credentials.
3

Copy the Credentials

Copy the VNC URL and VNC Password before the modal closes.
4

Connect with Your VNC Client

Open your VNC client, paste the URL, and enter the password when prompted.
The VNC session modal has a 30-second timeout. Copy the URL and password promptly. If it closes before you copy them, open it again to generate a new session.

VirtFusion (In-Browser VNC)

VirtFusion provides a built-in in-browser VNC console — no external client needed.
1

Access VirtFusion

Log in via Single Sign-On from the Client Portal.
2

Select Your VPS

Choose your server from the VirtFusion dashboard.
3

Open the Console

Click the Console button to open the in-browser VNC session.
