To host your domain on DigitalFyre, you need to update its nameservers at your domain registrar. This tells the internet where to find your site and email address.

DigitalFyre Nameservers

Update your domain to use the following nameservers:
ns1.digitalfyre.net
ns2.digitalfyre.net
ns3.digitalfyre.net
ns4.digitalfyre.net

How to Update Nameservers

Nameservers are changed at your domain registrar — the company where you registered your domain (e.g. Namecheap, GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Google Domains). The exact steps vary by registrar, but the general process is:
1

Log In to Your Registrar

Access your registrar’s control panel and find your list of domains.
2

Open DNS or Nameserver Settings

Look for an option labeled Nameservers, DNS Settings, or Manage DNS.
3

Replace Existing Nameservers

Remove any existing nameservers and enter all four DigitalFyre nameservers:
ns1.digitalfyre.net
ns2.digitalfyre.net
ns3.digitalfyre.net
ns4.digitalfyre.net
4

Save Changes

Save the changes. Most registrars apply this within a few minutes on their end.
DNS propagation can take up to 24–48 hours to complete worldwide. During this time, some visitors may still reach your old host.

Once propagation is complete:

Checking Propagation

You can check whether your nameserver change has propagated using DNSView.io, DigitalFyre’s free DNS propagation tool.
