PanelAlpha lets you view, update, disable, and remove plugins installed on your WordPress site without logging in to the WordPress dashboard.

Accessing Plugins

From your instance, click the Plugins tab. All installed plugins are displayed in a card or list view.

Available Actions

Each plugin card shows:
  • Plugin name and description
  • Update badge — shown in orange when an update is available
  • Disable — deactivates the plugin without removing it
  • Update — applies the available update
  • Remove — permanently uninstalls the plugin

Installing a New Plugin

Click + Add New in the top-right corner of the Plugins tab to search for and install plugins from the WordPress plugin directory.

Updating All Plugins

To update all plugins at once, use the Update button in the top action bar of the instance (next to Cache and Delete). This applies all available core, plugin, and theme updates in one action.
Do not install caching plugins. WP Cloud includes built-in Edge Cache which handles caching automatically. Third-party caching plugins conflict with Edge Cache and will cause unpredictable behaviour or degraded performance. See Edge Cache for more.

Auto-Updates

You can configure plugins to update automatically. See Auto-Updates.
