The contact information page allows you to update the WHOIS contact records for your domain. These records identify the registrant (owner), administrative contact, and technical contact.
| Contact | Purpose |
|---|
| Registrant | The legal owner of the domain — the most important record |
| Admin | Authorized to make administrative decisions about the domain |
| Tech | Technical contact for DNS and server-related issues |
Navigate to Contact Information
Open your domain’s management page and click Contact Information in the left sidebar.
Choose a Source
For each contact type, select either Use existing account contact (copies your DigitalFyre account details) or Specify custom information below.
Fill In Required Fields
Complete the required fields: name, organization, email, address, and phone.
Each contact record includes: First Name, Last Name, Organisation Name, Job Title, Email, Address (Address 1, Address 2, City, State, Postcode, Country), Phone, and Fax (optional).
Keep your registrant contact information accurate and up to date at all times. Inaccurate WHOIS data can result in domain suspension by ICANN. The registrant email is also used for domain verification and EPP code delivery.
Changing the registrant contact information triggers a 60-day transfer lock. During this period, the domain cannot be transferred to another registrar.
If you are planning to transfer your domain out, update your contact information before or after the transfer — not during.
