Registrar lock prevents your domain from being transferred to another registrar without your explicit authorization. It should be kept enabled at all times unless you are actively transferring the domain out.
Toggling Registrar Lock
Navigate to Your Domain
Open your domain’s management page and click Registrar Lock in the left sidebar.
Toggle the Lock
Toggle the Registrar Lock Status switch on or off.
When to Disable
Disable registrar lock only when you need to transfer your domain to another registrar. Once the transfer is complete, the new registrar will apply their own lock.

Keep the registrar lock enabled at all times unless you are actively initiating a transfer. An unlocked domain is vulnerable to unauthorized transfers, which can be difficult and time-consuming to reverse.
