All DigitalFyre shared hosting accounts include server-level spam filtering. Incoming mail is scanned automatically before it reaches your mailbox.

How It Works

Spam filtering on our platform operates at two levels:
  • Server level — Imunify360 scans all incoming mail at the server before delivery, blocking known spam sources and malicious content
  • Mailbox level — SpamAssassin is available per mailbox for additional scoring and filtering

Configuring SpamAssassin Per Mailbox

1

Go to Mail

Log in to Plesk and click Mail in the left sidebar.
2

Open the Mailbox

Click on the email address you want to configure.
3

Go to Spam Filter

Click the Spam Filter tab.
4

Enable and Configure

Enable the spam filter and adjust the sensitivity score. A lower score is more aggressive. The default score of 7 is recommended for most users.
5

Save

Click OK to apply.

Marking Mail as Spam or Not Spam

If spam is reaching your inbox, or legitimate mail is being filtered incorrectly:
  • Move unwanted mail to your Junk/Spam folder in webmail — this helps train the filter
  • Check your Junk folder regularly for false positives and mark them as Not Spam to improve accuracy over time
If you are receiving a high volume of spam that filtering is not catching, contact support and we can review the server-level configuration for your domain.
